Yoga in the US is a space that has been dishonoring of the Southeast Asian roots of the practice, and exclusive of individuals who don't fit the white supremacist "ideal" of thin, white, and able-bodied. To do a tiny bit to fight, 10% of my yoga proceeds will be donated to MN Healing Justice Network.

Sundays, 7pm Yoga Restore

Step into a soothing hour filled with tranquil tunes and ease into a blend of breath work, yin, and restorative postures. Poses are supported by blankets or pillows and held for a longer period of time in order to improve range of motion, increase circulation and calm the nervous system. This low-impact, gentle practice embraces stillness in the body and mind and concludes with an extended, relaxing savasana. Intensity: Low

Thursdays, 7:00am Yoga Flow

Also known was "vinyasa yoga", this practice links breath and movement creating heat and energy in the body. Integrate balance, strength, and relaxation as you fluidly move from one posture to another. Different pose variations are offered throughout the class so you may practice at your own comfort level to encourage relaxation and reduce stress.  Intensity: Medium

Thursdays, 11:30a-12:15p Rooftop Yoga (Weather Permitting) @ YWCA Minneapolis (Downtown)

"Deepen your mind-body connection and take your practice to new heights on the Downtown Rooftop. Build strength as you connect postures with mindful breathing. Whether you have an extensive yoga practice or you’re a beginner, you’re invited to explore your own journey of self-awareness. Please bring a mat and towel. We do not have yoga mats or props available for member use at this time."
